Yep, got the beast back yesterday around 6pm. Like new, new logic-board, video card and power supply....apparently everything blew. So upgrades to Snow leopard, dumped a lot of useless documents, transferred some to external disk and Time machine (on a second external disk - firewire 800) is copying away! Updating has allowed the flip for Mac software to install properly (AT LAST!!!) Now I can program Radioshift to record automatically Global Gatherings and all things BBC!!
Might get around to sme crafting now that things are getting back to normal.
